Derek Gallagher, P.E., C.W.I

Principal

Derek Gallagher is a licensed Professional Engineer with comprehensive experience delivering structural, waterfront, and inspection services for federal agencies across the United States. Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and maintains engineer licensure in California, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Nevada, and New York. As an American Welding Society© Certified Weld Inspector, Mr. Gallagher brings specialized expertise to structural inspections and PCAS support.

Derek has served as Engineer of Record and project manager on multiple federal design projects, supporting mission‑critical facilities with disciplined engineering, inter-disciplinary management, and field‑tested judgment. His experience spans structural design and assessment, facility inspection and planning, and QA/QC.

Gallagher Federal Consultants was founded on the principle of disciplined execution - engineering meeting the high standards expected in federal programs. As a small business, we stay close to the work, ensuring solutions are accurately identified, collaboratively developed, and integrated executed.
